 Baseball: Baseball won their game this weekend 14-0 against American Falls!

Lakettes: Earlier last week the lakettes had their banquet on thursday. Then they finished up tryouts on monday the 19th for next year.

Softball -

Softball played great over the weekend winning all 5 games. 13-3 over West Side on Thursday. 14-2 over Declo and 11-1 over Mackay on Friday.16-3 over Wendell, and 17-1 over Ririe on Saturday. They play Blackfoot for a JV double header Tuesday, and Preston on Wednesday, and American Falls on Friday.

The Bears beat number 1 seed West Side twice in two days to avenge an earlier district tournament loss to the pirates and take the District 5 championship. The Bears will play Ambrose in the first round of the state tournament Thursday March 4th. Another Homecoming for the books!

Homecoming last week was a blast, but the fun doesn't end there! Just to wrap up last week, in cased you missed the homecoming football game, the winners of the homecoming royalty were Hattie Mattson and Chance Kearl for the juniors, and Hallie Skinner and Gabe Hillier for the Seniors. Congratulations to the winners and nominees! Unfortunately, we lost the game to the Firth Cougars 40-19, but before the game started we had a 9/11 tribute. All of our football players walked out to the field carrying flags while the band played the national anthem for us.  On Saturday, the cross country team went the the Tiger Grizz invitational on the Freeman Park in Idaho Falls. In the women's varsity race Elise Kelsey, Kinsee Hansen, and Elli Kelsey place in the top 20, and Katelyn Crane ran the JV race and took second! Spring has Sprung!

  Cheer: Cheer went to Boise over the weekend to complete. They did not place in the top three but still did amazing! You go Ladies!!! Tryouts for next year will be held on April 27-30. They will start at 6-30 pm. Softball - Varsity played great in Firth and Wendell last week  winning 18 to 3 in firth and 14 to 3 in Wendell and losing 9 to 8 in Preston and the JV losing 13 to 15 in Preston but having an amazing comeback. This week they are playing in Idaho Falls on Friday. Lakettes - The ladies finished up their season at districts at American Falls taking 3rd place in hip-hop and 4th in lyrical but sadly they did not make it to state. The Lakettes are going over to the middle school April 8th to go perform for the upcoming freshman class. They are then holding tryouts April 12th, 13th, 15th, and 19th from 5-7 in the A.J.
