Sports Week

As cheer is getting wrapped up in these next couple of weeks they will be heading to Boise for Cheer State on March 19th, 2021. They will be taking their Pom and Sideline routine as well as one of their stunt groups for the stunting category.  

Boys Basketball- Last weekend the boys headed to Boise for their State Tournament. They played their first game Thursday and lost to a good fight against Ambrose. Friday they came back with a good fight and ended up beating New Plymouth putting them back into the game for Consolation, Saturday after a close game the entire time they ended up pulling out the fight to take the win over Melba. They ended up taking third place out of the entire state. Good Job Boys! 




Softball starts next week and their first game is on Wednesday, March 17th in Firth, then they play March 18th in Wendell (which is a double header) and then on March 19th in Preston. Baseball tryouts are scheduled for March 8th, 2021 right after school. The first game of the season will be on March 18th against Green Canyon in Logan. Best of luck to the boys this season! Prom is April 24th, not sure of the theme but everyone is working hard on finding the perfect theme. rom also overlaps with an away baseball game and they are trying to figure out what is happening so Varsity baseball players can still come to prom.

Play- The Old Man, The old Moon on March 11th, 12th, and the 13th. Held at the Middle School.

  1. What high school did you graduate from? She came to the High School when she was 8 weeks old.

  2. How long have you been teaching? She’s been at the High School for 6 years.

  3. What brought you to Bear Lake? Mr. Chamberlain had a therapy dog at his school and he thought it would be a good idea to have one here. 

  4. Have you taught anywhere else? She’s only worked at Bear Lake High School.

  5. When you were younger did you dream you would be a teacher?/ What was your dream job? She has always dreamed of being a therapy dog.

  6. What was your favorite subject in school? Her favorite thing to do in the whole world is Frisbee.
